When South Africa went into lockdown in 2020, the most vulnerable were hit hardest. Without an income, without food security, and without access to basic care, hundreds of families in our area faced a genuine crisis.

In Thy Name Givers Gift mobilised immediately. Our team assembled food hampers packed with rice, pap, juice, and essential groceries. We prepared homemade biscuits and hot meals. We drove to squatter camps, homeless shelters, and informal settlements across Gauteng — reaching grandparents raising grandchildren, homeless individuals on the streets, and families with young babies who had nothing.

We did not wait to be asked. We went.
